Greetings,

My name is Sarah Kim. I grew up in a Christian home and lived in the Bay Area till my second year of college. Now living in Central Valley of California. I have one younger sister and my parents. 

 

I graduated from Biola University majoring in Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry with Children's emphasis. My love for children started in middle school and has developed over the years through friends and family supporting me and teaching me to become a better leader for children. As of August 2017 I interned at Church of Southland for Childrens ministry, coordinator for Treehouse Junior (K-2nd Grade) on Sundays and on Friday co-coordinating Awana Cubbies program.

As of now 2018, I am in Cincinatti, Ohio interning in inner city church located in downtown. The work that I am doing here is childrens ministry but also ministry from children to adults.

With the passion for children and God's kingdom work I had many opportunities to go on mission trips, which have impacted and grown my spiritual walk with the Lord. I have sacrificed my summer since 8th grade to go to foreign lands to serve God and serve children around the world. I have gone to Japan, Mexico, San Francisco, Fresno, and Over the Rhine, each of them were so different and blessed me in so many ways.

On the side, I enjoy taking photos of the places I have been and even using this skill to help people around me. Also enjoy having long conversations with friends and family.
