My Mission

"This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: "Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message" So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him." Jeremiah 18:1-4

The many question and desire comes of why did God put me in these certain types of situations or why does God make me think of my future at certain points in my life? I thought through these questions many times and I realized God wanted for me to understand he is shaping me to be more of him and if I did not trust him I would essentially be a glob of clay. My mission is to be a pot that was fully made by God and not from anyone else and to be used in great ways for children but also to adults that need the joy of the Lord.

Personally, have grown in a happy christian family, but through difficult circumstances I had traumatic experiences with robbery and with depression and finding my way out of the tunnel was only through God. And seeing there is a way out I want to help others by listening, by using my gift to different parts of the world. And to put that these experiences has led my trust with God more and more and to rely on him and for him to speak to me to see what my mission in life is.

God created me to become a listener to many others and to support those who need another person to hear. They may not be adults, but children who have personal hurts and wishes for someone to hear them out. I want to be molded into a person who is able to do exactly and God has given me many people to hear out even if I have many thoughts and ways to help them, but in moments my mouth is shut and unable to tell. Through these conversations many have come back and told me thank you for listening to me and not judging me. It is only in these situations where God has grown me and remolded me over the years and I cannot give more thanks to God who have molded a person whose sinful to become someone who is to help others around the world.

Another of my mission through learning of my major is to take these essential learnings to children ministries here in the states, but also the countries that God sends me to. To be able to grasp that we are children of God and that as child of God we are to help many other children of God even if they may be young to fully grasp faith, but the young training will help later in life.

Lastly, God has fully put in my life and said “Sarah since you have endured so much trials and hurts I want you to learn from them and to help many children around you to come back to me.” The thought of the saying stayed with me and I promised God that I would live my whole life pursuing after children who are in need of him. So in the end my mission is to help children in their lives physically, but at the same time to teach the gospel so they may see the joy that I had since I was born.
